Change the theme.
Keep the whole pop-up usable.

The fault is reproduced and fixed. Choosing a theme moved the contents upward and left a large blank area. The fixed screen keeps the title, list and lower controls in place.

BEFORE THE FIX

Half the pop-up goes blank.

A theme choice makes the whole pop-up scroll out of place.

  1. 1
    Choose Custom. Scroll to Theme.

The app shows the theme cards.

  2. 2
    Click Harbor.

The title moves out of view. The lower area goes blank.

  3. 3
    Continue down to Numbers.

The list is trapped in the top part of the pop-up.

✕ Fault The blank space and missing title interrupt the next choice.
AFTER THE FIX

The whole pop-up stays usable.

A theme choice stays inside its own card, so only the list scrolls.

  1. 1
    Choose Custom. Scroll to Theme.

The app shows the theme cards.

  2. 2
    Click Harbor.

The color changes. The title and full list stay in place.

  3. 3
    Continue down to Numbers.

The number controls remain visible and usable.

✓ Works Theme changes, scrolling and keyboard selection work together.

After: Harbor is selected. The title, close button, left menu and theme cards fill the pop-up correctly.
✓ AfterThe full pop-up stays in place.

Starting point: Custom is active and the theme cards are shown before selecting Harbor.
The same starting point for both runs.
After the fix: the bottom Numbers section remains usable. Decimal places is set to three.
Numbers at the bottom: changed to three decimal places.
After the fix at a phone width: Harbor is selected in dark mode. The header and full scrolling area remain in place.
375-pixel phone width, dark mode.

What caused it?

Each card uses a small, hidden selection control so the arrow keys work. That control was placed outside the card’s layout bounds. Selecting a theme gave it focus, and the browser moved the whole pop-up to reach it.

The fix keeps each control inside its own card. This also fixes the same fault in the light/dark color tabs and the accent swatches.

Recommendation: use the fixed version.

It preserves normal scrolling and arrow-key selection. There is no new setting to learn.

Evidence: real Settings components and bundled fonts from this checkout, in an isolated Chromium browser page. No customer data or app server was needed. Checked at 1280 × 800 and 375 × 700. The 442-pixel shift is rounded from 441.5 pixels; the first run with fallback fonts moved by 413 pixels. Desktop app release checks remain separate.
